    摘要: A method and photo-sensitive ink solution used for producing a tone-accurate color process proof or color transfer is disclosed. The method includes multiple applications of sequential layers of extender coat powder and photo-sensitive ink solution coats. These layers are individually exposed to actinic light through a design bearing film, and that material not underlying the exposed ink coat is removed by means of a light water spray before a new series of sequential layers are applied.

    摘要: A radiation-sensitive element for half tone color proofing adapted to be exposed by scanning with four independently modulated sources of radiation emitting at different wavelengths within the range 550 to 900 nm, the element comprising a substrate bearing at least four separate imaging media coated thereon, said imaging media including:(1) an imaging medium capable of forming a yellow image upon imagewise exposure and processing,(2) an imaging medium capable of forming a magenta image upon imagewise exposure and processing,(3) an imaging medium capable of forming a cyan image upon imagewise exposure and processing, and(4) an imaging medium capable of forming a black or a balancing black image upon imagewise exposure and processing,each imaging medium having a maximum spectral sensitivity at a wavelength different from that of the maximum sensitivity of the other imaging media such that after exposure and processing super-imposed yellow, magenta, cyan and black or balancing black images are formed, each image being attributable to the imagewise exposure of the respective source. Three layer elements of forming yellow, magenta and cyan images may be used for preparing half-tone full color images. Exposure apparatus comprising at least three independently modulated sources, preferably semi conductor sources emitting in the region of 550 to 900 nm may be used for imaging.

    摘要: A photographic matte for use in traveling matte photography is formed by recording a separation of a first screen-color separation of an image on a first film layer and recording a separation of a different second color on a second layer. Preferably, the second color is complementary to the screen color. One layer is developed to form a positive image and the other to form a negative image, these images reinforcing each other. One image is formed by black dye, using a coupler and a color developer and the other is formed by a black dye destruct technique in which the developed portion of the silver halide emulsion is removed. According to another aspect of the invention, a matte of increased density can be formed without commensurate image growth by combining a black dye image with a silver image.

The invention provides a color photographic material giving recorded images, etc., capable of viewing by both reflected light and transmitted light.

    摘要: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material. A support has thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer and a non-light-sensitive layer adjacent to the silver halide emulsion layer. The silver halide emulsion layer contains a cyan coupler having Formula (I) and a compound having Formula (II). The non-light-sensitive layer contains a compound having Formula (II) ##STR1## wherein X is a hydrogen atom or a group which can be split off by the coupling reaction with the oxidized product of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent; R.sub.1 is an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; and R.sub.2 is a ballasting group necessary to cause the cyan coupler having the Formula (I) and the cyan dye formed from the cyan coupler to be nondiffusible ##STR2## wherein R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each is an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, or a cycloalkyl group each having from 3 to 20 carbon atoms, or an aryl group having from 6 to 20 carbon atoms.
