    Abstract: This application discloses a battery unit. The battery unit includes a housing, at least one cell, and a buffer. The at least one cell is accommodated in the housing, the buffer is disposed corresponding to a side wall of the cell, and the buffer is provided with an accommodating cavity. A periphery of the accommodating cavity includes at least one packaging structure, the packaging structure includes at least one level of packaging region with a predetermined length. When pressure in the accommodating cavity exceeds packaging strength of the packaging structure, the packaging region is opened to form a buffer space that communicates with the accommodating cavity, reducing influence caused by swelling of the cell.

    Abstract: The present application relates to a current collecting member, a battery cell, a battery, and a power consuming device, which belong to the technical field of battery manufacturing. The present application provides a current collecting member for a battery cell. The current collecting member comprises: a terminal connecting portion for connection to an electrode terminal of the battery cell; a tab connecting portion for connection to a tab of the battery cell; and a transitional portion for connecting the terminal connecting portion and the tab connecting portion; wherein the transitional portion has a width greater than that of the tab connecting portion. The present application further provides a battery cell, a battery, and a power consuming device, which comprise the current collecting member. The battery cell, the battery and the power consuming device all have high safety performance and energy density due to the features of the current collecting member.

    Abstract: A battery cell, a battery, an electric device, and a method and device for manufacturing battery cell are provided. The battery cell includes an electrode assembly; and a housing configured to accommodate the electrode assembly, where a first wall of the housing includes a first body and a mounting body connected to the first body, the mounting body is provided with a pressure relief mechanism, and the pressure relief mechanism is configured to be actuated when internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold, so as to relieve the pressure; in a thickness direction of the first wall, at least part of the mounting body protrudes out of a surface of the first body facing the electrode assembly in a direction approaching the electrode assembly.

    Abstract: A battery module including a first battery group, a second battery group, a cooling plate, and a plurality of busbars electrically connected with a plurality of battery cells. The cooling plate is placed between the first battery group and the second battery group, and the two surfaces of the cooling plate are respectively bonded onto the first battery group and the second battery group with thermally conductive adhesive, the first battery group and the second battery group can be mounted close to the cooling plate, thus increasing the heat dissipation area and improving the heat dissipation effect.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a secondary battery, a battery module and a vehicle. The secondary battery includes an electrode assembly, a case and a cap assembly. The case has an accommodating cavity, and the electrode assembly is accommodated in the accommodating cavity. The electrode assembly includes electrode units, and the electrode units are stacked in an axial direction of the accommodating cavity. The cap assembly includes a cap plate and an insulating member provided at an inner side of the cap plate, the cap plate is connected with the case, and the insulating member is positioned at a side of the electrode assembly in the axial direction. The insulating member is provided with a first surface at a side close to the electrode assembly, and the first surface is a flat surface.

    Abstract: This application relates to a battery comprising a positive electrode plate, a separator, and a negative electrode plate, wherein the positive electrode plate comprises a positive electrode current collector and at least two layers of positive active material coated on at least one surface of the positive electrode current collector, and wherein an underlying positive active material layer in contact with the positive electrode current collector comprises a first positive active material, a first polymer material and a first conductive material; and wherein an upper positive active material layer in contact with the underlying positive active material layer and away from the positive electrode current collector comprises a second positive active material, a second polymer material and a second conductive material, and the first polymer material comprises fluorinated polyolefin and/or chlorinated polyolefin polymer material. The battery has good safety and improved electrical properties.
