The sole holder as well as the front anchorage of the release plate are rearwardly offset with respect to the tip of the shoe, wherein the sole holder has coupling mounts positively engaging in each other, and the shoe sole between the mount arranged thereon and the heel holder is formed considerably stiff.

摘要： A safety ski binding comprises a footplate and a tie rod which is mounted on said footplate and is adapted to be displaceable against spring force in the axis of symmetry of the footplate. This axis of symmetry extends in the longitudinal direction of the ski when the binding is in position for a downhill run. Said tie rod is adapted to be held in position by a tightener. Two pairs of rollers are carried by the tie rod and the footplate, respectively. The axles of said rollers extend transversely to the longitudinal axis of the tie rod and parallel to the plate and are secured to the tie rod and the plate, respectively. Said tie rod has a portion which extends within a guide and is provided adjacent to the tightener with an upwardly directed release nose. The boot which is associated with the binding is provided at the forward and near edges of its heel with bearing surfaces for the rollers and is provided preferably in the tread face of the heel with a groove which receives the guide when the binding is in position for a downhill run. Said footplate is pivotally movable about a pivot which is mounted on the baseplate.

摘要： A safety binding for releasably retaining toe and heel portions of a ski boot on a ski. The boot is retained on the ski by respective binding assemblies adjustably positioned fore and aft of the boot. Each assembly includes a pivot ball or sphere and bar member matingly engaged within the assembly but releasable on impact to permit pivoting of the assembly in three directions thereby to release the boot toe or heel in the event of excessive load thereon such as when the skiing user encounters a fall. Each binding assembly is mounted on a respective mounting bracket adjustably positioned within a mounting plate secured to the ski. Each mounting bracket has an upstanding tongue or flange matingly engageable with a ratchet track provided on the mounting plate to provide adjustable positioning on each bracket along the plate to enable variable positioning of the assemblies on the ski.

An improved toe binding has a spring-loaded lever and clamp assembly which releasably holds the toe portion of the boot down against the top of the ski and restrains forward movement of the ski boot while permitting lateral movement of the toe portion about the intermediate pivot.

摘要： A ski boot fixation device comprises a lever pivotally mounted on a support about horizontal and vertical axes in relation to the plane of a ski. Boot holding means on one end of the lever can be releasably held in operative position by a pair of cooperating pieces on the lever and the support which are urged together by a spring. The lateral stress required to free the lever from operative position is made constant, i.e. independent of vertical displacement of the lever, by means compensating for the change in the pressure of the spring due to vertical displacement of the lever.

摘要： A heel clip for releasably attaching a heel of a ski boot to a ski includes a framework pivotally mounted on the ski. A first member is pivotally connected to the framework for movement between first and second positions. In the first position, a second member pivotally connected to the first member engages a stop member and a clamp connected to the second member firmly engages the heel of a ski boot. When the heel exerts a sudden force sufficient to overcome a spring biasing the first member in the first position, the first member moves to the second position whereupon a groove in the second member receives therein the stop member thereby permitting the second member to pivot relative to the first member. This pivotal movement causes the clamp to release the heel of the ski boot.

摘要： A safety turntable for a ski binding includes a member fixed to a ski and another member adapted to be attached to a ski with one of the members being cylindrical and the other member having a cylindrical recess for receiving the cylindrical member. The cylindrical portion of one of the members is provided with a circularly extending groove and the other member is provided with movable detent means allowing the two members to rotate relative to one another but permitting disconnection of the members at any angle of rotation. A safety strap for preventing loss of the ski may be attached between the two members.
