The table assembly has a panel with two use positions, one extending across the front of the chair and the other extending laterally to the side of the chair. The table panel may be stowed in a position alongside the chair, inside the brake and the drive wheel, beneath the arm. It is readily removed and replaced.

摘要： A stowable table system for use with a compartment in a vehicle seat, or the like, comprises a pivot block mounted for pivotal movement with respect to the compartment and a pivot stud mounted for pivotal movement in the pivot block and, in turn, mounting a table base that attaches a table structure for pivotal movement with respect to the pivot stud. A first set of shoulder forming limit stops enables the table structure, when in its use position, to be angularly displaced to a predetermined extent and a second set of shoulders prevents angular displacement between the table base and the compartment when the table structure is disposed in a position preparatory to stowing it in the compartment.

The portable table is attached to the frame of the wheelchair and includes a tilting device for varying the angle of the table top relative to the horizontal. 摘要： An accessory-supporting attachment frame is removably coupled to the vertical bracing members which extend downwardly from the front terminus portions of the wheelchair armrests, said bracing members being disposed substantially rearwardly of the front edge of the wheelchair seat. The coupling is of the swing-down type. Stabilizing locators extend downwardly from the frame and engage the bracing members to position the frame horizontally. The frame is disposed below the plane of the armrests and extends from between the chair back and front seat edge and forwardly to beyond said edge. The frame is adapted to receive thereover an accessory, such as a tray, via a connection therebetween which permits support of the accessory on the tray while holding the accessory against horizontal movement. The coupling between the frame and bracing members is such as to be automatically releasable to protect the patient in the event the wheelchair tips forwardly so that the front edge of the frame and/or accessory engages the floor.

摘要： A reclinable-seat and foldable-table assembly comprises a seat having a backrest pivotable about a horizontal axis from an upright position to a reclining position, and a table pivotable with the backrest from its upright position to its reclining position. The table is further movable from a folded non-operative position against the rear side of the backrest to an open operative position for use by the occupier of the seat to the rear of the backrest. The assembly further includes blocking means effective, when the table is moved to its open operative position, to block the backrest from being pivoted to its reclining position.

摘要： A seat armrest assembly which can be moved from an upright to a stowed position is secured to the armrest of a seating unit. The table assembly includes a support bar which extends through a support sleeve having an internal contour. A table portion is attached to the bar at one end and a blocking piece is attached at the other end. A retaining members, secured to the bar intermediate of the ends, is shaped to correspond to the internal contour of the sleeve. In the upright position the retaining member abuts the inner edges of the sleeve to prevent axial rotation of the bar, thus retaining the assembly upright. The assembly is lowered by disengaging the retaining member from the sleeve and rotating the bar-table through 90.degree. to the stowed position.
