    Abstract: Positioning measurements to determine the location of a user equipment (UE) may be obtained within a configured time window, such as a measurement time window or positioning reference signal (PRS) processing window. If one or more position measurements cannot be obtained within the configured window, the measuring entity may provide an error report to the positioning entity indicating that it was unable to obtain one or more positioning measurements within the configured time window. The error message may be provided in the provide location information report. The error message may include the timing of the error within the configured time window, e.g., whether the error occurred at the beginning or end of the configured time window. The error message may further indicate the cause of the error, such as failure to receive a PRS processing window, or that the PRS had low priority relative to downlink signals or channels.

    Abstract: A first sensing entity may receive, from a second sensing entity, a sensing information message that may include a first set of sensing attributes associated with a set of objects within an area associated with the first sensing entity. The first sensing entity may transmit a set of sensing signals at a target object. The first sensing entity may receive a set of reflected sensing signals based on the set of sensing signals and the target object. The first sensing entity may measure a second set of sensing attributes associated with the target object based on the set of reflected sensing signals and the first set of sensing attributes. The measured second set of sensing attributes may be more accurate than a set of sensing attributes that are not based on the first set of sensing attributes.

    Abstract: Aspects presented herein may improve radio frequency (RF) sensing accuracy for an RF sensing node by enabling the RF sensing node to perform RF sensing using multiple antenna/antenna panels. In one aspect, a UE transmits, to a sensing entity, an indication of a capability to perform RF sensing using a set of antenna panels. The UE receives, from the sensing entity based on the indication, a configuration to perform an RF sensing operation using a subset of antenna panels in the set of antenna panels, where each antenna panel in the subset of antenna panels is configured to perform a corresponding RF sensing operation for each antenna panel. The UE performs, based on the configuration, the RF sensing operation via each antenna panel in the subset of antenna panels.

    Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a network entity to associate one or more positioning related parameters between a UE and an NTN base station with a scheduling offset, a position of the NTN base station, and/or a time. In one aspect, a network entity identifies a scheduling offset that is associated with an NTN base station. The network entity transmits, to a UE communicating with the NTN base station, one or more of: a set of expected RSTD values associated with the NTN base station, a set of compensation factors associated with the set of expected RSTD values, a set of uncertainty values associated with the set of expected RSTD values, a set of expected DL-AoD values/uncertainties associated with the NTN base station, or a set of expected AoA values/uncertainties associated with the NTN base station, where one or more of these parameters are derived based on the scheduling offset.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques and apparatus for improved machine learning. A sequence of data records is accessed, each data record comprising wireless channel measurements and inertial measurement unit (IMU) data. Known position information corresponding to at least a first data record is accessed. A first sequence of positions is determined by processing the sets of IMU data and known position information using a forward operation. A second sequence of positions is determined by processing the sets of IMU data and known position information using a backward operation. An IMU adjustment parameter is generated using the first and second sequences of positions. A pseudo-label is generated for a second data record using the IMU adjustment parameter and the sets of IMU data. A machine learning model is trained, using the second data record and the pseudo-label, to predict positions using one or more wireless channel measurements.
