    Abstract: The user equipment (UE) may evaluate link qualities between the UE and target primary secondary cell group (SCG) cells (PSCells) respectively associated with target secondary nodes, select a target PSCell from the target PSCells based on the link qualities and execution conditions respectively associated with the target PSCells of the target secondary nodes, initiate a conditional execution procedure to connect to a target secondary node corresponding to the selected target PSCell, and responsive to a source SCG state corresponding to a source PSCell of a source secondary node being a deactivated state, perform either: changing an SCG state at the UE to an activated state and performing a random access channel (RACH) procedure on the selected target PSCell to perform the conditional execution procedure to connect to the selected target PSCell, or maintaining the SCG state at the UE as the deactivated state without performing a RACH procedure.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may perform radio link monitoring (RLM) reference signal measurements on a primary secondary cell (PSCell) while the UE is operating in a secondary cell group (SCG) deactivated state. The UE may perform beam failure detection (BFD) reference signal measurements while the UE is operating in the SCG deactivated state. The UE may transmit, to a master node associated with a master cell group (MCG), an SCG failure information message based at least in part on one of: a PSCell radio link failure (RLF) detection based at least in part on the RLM reference signal measurements, or a BFD based at least in part on the BFD reference signal measurements.     Abstract: Dynamic grants (DG) for retransmission by a user equipment (UE) use the communication resource more efficiently while configured grants (CG) for retransmission by the UE reduce overhead and latency. A base station (BS) uses radio resource control signaling to configure the UE with a retransmission timer or without a retransmission timer. The BS transmits to the UE a set of CG configurations configuring a set of configured grant uplink (CG-UL) processes. The set of CG configurations includes information indicating whether or not a cg-RetransmissionTimer is associated with the CG-UL processes. The BS is also configured to receive communication on UL from the UE. The communication from the UE is received based on the set of CG-UL processes and the indication whether or not a cg-RetransmissionTimer is associated with the CG-UL processes. A UE may have different channel conditions for a plurality of CG-UL processes of the UE and therefore using a combination of CG based retransmission and DG based retransmission will reduce latency and reduce overhead and use the resource more efficiently.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for communicating using sidelink resources allocated in an unlicensed spectrum. A method that may be performed by a first UE includes receiving one or more transmissions from a second UE on one or more sidelink sub-channels spanning one or more resource block (RB) sets of an unlicensed spectrum occupied by the second UE for a channel occupancy time (COT) and transmitting, to the second UE, feedback information corresponding to the one or more received transmissions on a feedback channel based on a mapping between the one or more sidelink sub-channels and the feedback channel that confines the feedback channel to at least the one or more RB sets and one or more guard bands between the one or more RB sets of the unlicensed spectrum occupied by the second UE for the COT.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a method for wireless communication. The method generally includes receiving a message for dual-active-protocol stack (DAPs) handover (HO) from a source network entity to a target network entity, wherein carrier-aggregation (CA) is configured with the source network entity prior to reception of the message for HO, deactivating the CA in response to reception of the message for handover (HO) to activate a single carrier mode with the source network entity, and performing the HO from the source network entity to the target network entity during a HO period, wherein the single carrier mode is maintained with the source network entity during at least a portion of the HO period, and wherein connection with the target network entity is maintained during the at least the portion of the HO period.
