Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may receive, from a user equipment (UE), a message that indicates whether the UE received a downlink transmission from the base station in a first frequency range. The base station may schedule one or more reference signal (RS) transmissions in the first frequency range and one or more RS transmissions in a second frequency range based at least in part on the message received from the UE, and reschedule the downlink transmission on a component carrier in either the first frequency range or the second frequency range based at least in part on channel quality information that is determined from the one or more RS transmissions in the first frequency range and the one or more RS transmissions in the second frequency range. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: One or more aspects of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) repetition is disclosed. In a particular implementation, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE), downlink control information (DCI) including a physical uplink control channel resource indicator (PRI) field codepoint. The method also includes determining, based on the PRI field codepoint, whether to transmit a PUCCH repetition within a slot position using a single PUCCH resource or transmit multiple PUCCH repetitions within the slot position using multiple PUCCH resources. The method further includes transmitting multiple PUCCH repetitions within the slot position using the multiple PUCCH resources responsive to determining to transmit the multiple PUCCH repetitions within the slot position using the multiple PUCCH resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems implementing beamforming, a neighboring base station may cause interference to a user equipment (UE) served by a different base station. To mitigate unexpected interference, an interference coordination region including time and frequency resources may be configured between the base stations. The interference coordination region may be configured based on long-term information for the base stations and may include one or both of a set of beam-avoidance sub-regions or a set of beam-preference sub-regions for a base station, where each sub-region is associated with a beam index. A base station may schedule a communication beam in the interference coordination region based on a beam-avoidance region (e.g., refraining from using a particular communication beam) or a beam-preference region (e.g., prioritizing a particular communication beam). The base station may transmit a message to a UE using the scheduled communication beam.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE), that is configured for demodulation reference signal (DMRS) bundling, may receive a control message that schedules first and second sets of repetitions of an uplink transmission. The UE may determine a phase coherency configuration to be applied for DMRS transmissions corresponding to each set of repetitions. The phase coherency configuration may be determined based on a phase coherency capability of the UE, and the phase coherency configuration may specify that phase coherency is to be maintained for one or more of the first set of repetitions separate from one or more of the second set of repetitions. The UE may transmit the first set of repetitions with a first set of demodulation reference signals and the second set of repetitions with a second set of demodulation reference signals in accordance with the phase coherency configuration.

A user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a UE capability to support receipt of multiple related downlink control channel transmissions, where the multiple related downlink control channel transmissions that are supported are one or more of single-frequency network (SFN) downlink control channel transmissions, intra-slot downlink control channel repetitions, or inter-slot downlink control channel repetitions, and are associated with one or more control resource sets. The UE may receive, from the base station based on transmission of the UE capability, a configuration for receiving the multiple related downlink control channel transmissions. The UE may then monitor a downlink control channel in accordance with the configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, downlink control information (DCI) that activates periodic channel state information (CSI) reporting via uplink shared channel transmissions (e.g., via physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions). The UE may then identify a trigger condition that triggers a transmission of both a first instance of a CSI report and a second instance of the CSI report within a period of the periodic CSI reporting. Based on the satisfaction of the trigger condition, the UE may transmit the first instance of the CSI report via a first uplink shared channel transmission and the second instance of the CSI report via a second uplink shared channel transmission, where both uplink channel transmissions are within the period of the periodic CSI reporting.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described in which a user equipment (UE) may transmit one or more uplink communications to multiple transmission-reception points (TRPs), which may include multiple repetitions to each of the multiple TRPs. Transmission parameters for each repetition may be based on parameters such as a number of antenna ports, a spatial domain filter or beam, a rank or number of layers, or any combinations thereof, that are determined from an indicated sounding reference signal (SRS) resource. The SRS resource may be selected from a set of SRS resources that are configured at the UE and indicated in control information that schedules the uplink communication. Multiple sets of SRS resources may be configured at the UE, and one or multiple indicators in the control information may be mapped to SRS resources of one or more of the sets of SRS resources.

Abstract: In an aspect, the present disclosure includes a method, apparatus, and computer readable medium for wireless communications at a UE, comprising receiving a RACH configuration from a network entity of a primary cell, the RACH configuration identifies at least two sets of RSs each corresponding to one of at least two different TRPs of a secondary cell; measuring one or more transmissions on each of the at least two sets of RSs for the at least two different TRPs; selecting at least a pair of RSs from the at least two different TRPs for a RACH procedure based on measuring the one or more transmissions; and transmitting a MSG1 of the RACH procedure with at least the pair of RSs on at least two allocated RACH occasions simultaneously to each TRP of the at least two different TRPs using at least one of FDM and SDM.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for uplink channel transmission for multiple transmit receive points (TRPs). In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) resolves overlapping physical uplink control channels (PUCCHs) in a slot or overlapping PUCCH(s) and PUSCH(s) that are mapped to a same TRP in a multi-TRP scenario and that are mapped to two or more different TRPs in the multi-TRP scenario. For example, in a multi-TRP scenario that includes two TRPs, the UE may eliminate overlap of these uplink channels for each of the two TRPs individually and may additionally eliminate overlap of these uplink channels between the two TRPs.
