    Abstract: Various embodiments provide a method and an apparatus for determining a weighting factor during stereo signal encoding. In those embodiments, a parameter value corresponding to the encoding mode of the to-be-encoded signal is determined based on an encoding mode of a to-be-encoded signal in a stereo signal and a correspondence between an encoding mode and a parameter value. Based on the determined parameter value and an energy spectrum of a linear prediction filter corresponding to an original line spectral frequency parameter of the to-be-encoded signal, a weighting factor for calculating a distance between the original line spectral frequency parameter and a target original line spectral frequency parameter is calculated.

    Abstract: A signal processing method and device includes obtaining spectral coefficients of a current frame of an audio signal, in which N sub-bands of the current frame comprises at least one of the spectral coefficients. A total energy of M successive sub-bands of the N sub-bands, a total energy of K successive sub-bands of the N sub-bands, and an energy of a first sub-band are obtained to determine whether to modify original envelope values of the M sub-bands. When the original envelope values of the M sub-bands are modified, encoding bits are allocated to each of the N sub-bands according to the modified envelope values of the M sub-bands.

    Abstract: Example signal reconstructing method and apparatus are described. One example method includes obtaining a reference sound channel and a target sound channel. An adaptive length of a transition segment is obtained based on an inter-channel time difference in the current frame and an initial length of the transition segment. A transition window in the current frame is obtained based on the adaptive length of the transition segment. A gain modification factor of a reconstructed signal is obtained. A transition segment signal on the target sound channel is obtained based on the inter-channel time difference, the adaptive length of the transition segment, the transition window, the gain modification factor, and a reference sound channel signal and a target sound channel signal.

    Abstract: A method and device for decoding a signal, where the method for decoding the signal includes obtaining spectral coefficients of sub-bands from a received bitstream by decoding, classifying sub-bands in which the spectral coefficients are located into a sub-band with saturated bit allocation and a sub-band with unsaturated bit allocation, performing noise filling on a spectral coefficient that has not been obtained by decoding and is in the sub-band with unsaturated bit allocation to restore the spectral coefficient that has not been obtained by decoding, and obtaining a frequency domain signal according to the spectral coefficients obtained by decoding and the restored spectral coefficient. Therefore, a sub-band with unsaturated bit allocation in a frequency domain signal may be obtained by classification, thereby improving signal decoding quality.
