Abstract:
An exemplary electronic device includes a casing, a first switch, a second switch and a switch control unit. The casing includes a side plate and a top plate detachably connected with a top end of the side plate. The first switch is turned on when the top plate is connected to the side plate and turned off when the top plate is detached from the side plate. The switch control unit includes a sliding member mounted at one side of the second switch. The sliding member includes a pressing plate. The sliding member is moveable relative to the side plate between a first state in which the pressing plate aligned with and pressing the second switch to turn on the second switch and a second state in which the pressing plate is staggered with the second switch to turn off the second switch.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hot water heat transfer pipe that exchanges heat between its interior and exterior. A plurality of projections, each having a height in the range of 0.8-2.0 mm or 0.1-0.25 times the inner diameter, is provided in at least one part of an inner surface of a portion of the heat transfer pipe positioned in a section where the Reynolds number of the fluid flowing in the interior is less than 7,000 to improve the heat transfer performance in the low Reynolds number zone and minimize pressure loss inside the pipe.
Abstract:
One embodiment provides a system of exchanging information between at least two parties over a network. The system includes a social media generator module, executed by one or more processors, to receive a comparison result between an existing first key word search from a first party and a subsequent second key word search from a second party via a network, and to generate a new social media embedded into a search result web page associated with the second party, when the comparison result indicates no substantial similarity between the first key word search and the second key word search.
Abstract:
Architecture for a word processing application that facilitates operating on mathematical symbols, expressions, and/or equations input to a word processing document, and returning results back to the document. User input to the document in the form of math symbols, expressions or equations is transformed into a format for processing by a math engine. The engine returns one or more operations to the user that can be performed on the input, including calculating mathematical solutions, graphing equations and viewing steps to solving math problems. A user interface allows the user choose from the possible operations and to interactively manipulate input and graphs in the word application. The results can be inserted directly into the document and also be graded automatically.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed towards systems and methods for determining a tag match ratio. The method according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises selecting a content item, identifying one or more tags that are associated with the content item and determining a weight for each of the one or more tags associated with the content item. The method further comprises extracting one or more keywords from the content item. A tag match ratio for the one or more tags associated with the content item is then calculated and stored.
Abstract:
An arrangement for processing data traffic flowing through a network is provided. The arrangement includes a data interface for receiving the data traffic. The arrangement also includes an inspection engine for analyzing the data traffic, wherein the analyzing is performed on at least payload data. The arrangement further includes means for routing the data traffic through the network, wherein the means for routing is configured to define one or more ports for transmitting the data traffic. The means for routing the data traffic is dynamic to balance the data traffic across multiple outgoing ports.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the new usage of puerarin in the field of pharmaceutical products, in other words, it relates to the application of puerarin in the preparation of drugs for P2X3 mediated pain/nervous system diseases. The experiment shows that puerarin can inhibit pain-related behavioral responses, subsequently immunohistochemical analysis, in situ hybridization, RT-PCR, protein blotting and other techniques were utilized to observe the inhibition of puerarin on mRNA and protein expression of P2X3 receptor in dorsal root ganglion of rats with neuropathic pain and in dorsal root ganglion and sensory nerve ending in the burn model of rats, it was found by using whole-cell patch clamp technique that puerarin can significantly reduce the electric current activated by P2X3 receptor agonist in the neuron of dorsal root ganglion of rats with neuropathic pain. The experiment proves that the mechanism for the inhibitory effects of puerarin on acute and chronic pain is to block the transmission of pain sense information that is mediated by P2X3 receptor in primary sensory neurons. The invention provides a kind of new method for the prevention and treatment on acute and chronic pain, and it also indicates that puerarin can act as a antagonist for P2X3 receptor, which will be helpful for the application of drugs in the prevention and treatment on P2X3 receptor involved nervous system diseases.
Abstract:
A mounting apparatus is provided to hold a number of data storage devices each including opposite sidewalls. The mounting apparatus includes a bracket, a number of fasteners, and a number of fixing members. The fasteners are fixed to the sidewalls of each data storage device, respectively, and each fastener includes a head portion abutting the corresponding sidewall. Each fixing member includes a main body fixed to the bracket, a number of cushioning boards fixed to the main body, and a number of guiding rails fixed each fixed to a corresponding one of the plurality of cushioning boards. Each guiding rail defines a sliding groove. When the data storage devices are moved along two adjacent fixing members, the head portions are slid in the corresponding sliding grooves.
Abstract:
The invention relates to processes process of producing fermentation products from lignocellulose-containing material comprising: a) pretreating the lignocellulose-containing material; b) preparing a slurry of pretreated lignocellulose-containing material and thermo treated distiller's grain; c) hydrolyzing the slurry with one or more cellulolytic enzymes; d) fermenting with a fermenting organism.
Abstract:
A magnetic memory or MRAM memory system comprising an M×N crossbar array of MRAM cells. Each memory cell stores binary data bits with switchable magnetoresistive tunnel junctions (MJT) where the electrical conductance changes as the magnetic moment of one electrode (the storage layer) in the MJT switches direction. The switching of the magnetic moment is assisted by a phase transition interlayer that transitions from antiferromagnetic to ferromagnetic at a well defined, above ambient temperature.
