    Abstract: An additive comprising a mixture of at least one decomposable molybdenum compound selected from the group consisting of molybdenum dithiophosphates and molybdenum dithiocarbamates and at least one decomposable nickel compound selected from the group consisting of nickel dithiophosphates and nickel dithiocarbamates is mixed with a hydrocarbon-containing feed stream.
