    摘要: A method for controlling a combustion process in a gas turbine wherein a combustion chamber, a control device storing a calculation model of the combustion process, and an exhaust air measurement device are used. A permissible limit value for nitrogen oxides and for carbon monoxide as pollutants is set. The actual value of at least one of the two pollutants is measured continuously in the exhaust air. When a signal to reduce the power of the gas turbine to a lowest possible value is given, then a minimum fuel supply at which the limit values are complied with is calculated. The fuel supply is then reduced either until the calculated minimum fuel supply is reached or until the continuously measured proportion of the pollutant reaches the permissible limit value.

    摘要: A power plant having a gas turbine and having a heat recovery steam generator installed downstream of the gas turbine in the direction of flow of an exhaust gas, wherein the heat recovery steam generator includes heating surfaces of a high pressure section, of an intermediate pressure section and of a low pressure section, wherein an exhaust gas recirculation line branches from the heat recovery steam generator downstream of an evaporator in the flow direction of an exhaust gas in the high pressure section and opens again into the heat recovery steam generator upstream of the heating surfaces. A blower is arranged in the exhaust gas recirculation line, with a steam feed opening into the exhaust gas recirculation line downstream of the blower in the direction of flow of a recirculated exhaust gas. A method operates a power plant of this kind.

    摘要: A turbine stage includes an array of airfoils spaced apart circumferentially to define a flow passage therebetween for channeling a working medium. The airfoils extend radially outward from an inner endwall located at a hub side thereof. The inner endwall is inclined at an angle to an engine axis such that the flow passage is divergent from an upstream side to a downstream side. The inner endwall is non-axisymmetric about the engine axis, having a mid-passage bulge located between circumferentially adjacent first and second airfoils. The bulge has a peak at a position between 20-60% CaxID and at a position between 30-70% pitchID.

    摘要: A non-contact seal assembly for sealing a gap between relatively rotatable components in a gas turbine engine is presented. The non-contact seal assembly includes a primary seal having a radially movable seal shoe, a mid-plate, an aft secondary seal radially movable along with the seal shoe, a forward secondary seal and a U-shaped seal carrier for holding the components together using pins. The seal shoe includes a plurality of seal shoe segments. The aft secondary seal includes a plurality of aft secondary seal segments. Each aft secondary seal segment is attached to each seal shoe segment. Each aft secondary seal segment includes at least a notch at outer radial side to receive the pin for accommodating radial movement of the seal shoe segment.
