    Abstract: A control system includes a load detector, a determination unit, and a drive control unit. The load detector detects a load of a slide. The load of the slide includes a positive load due to a pressing force of the slide during pressing and a negative load at the time of a breakthrough. The determination unit determines whether to execute emergency stopping of the slide based on the positive load and the negative load detected by the load detector. The drive control unit controls the driving of the slide based on the determination result of the determination unit.

    Abstract: There is provided a fiber laser processing machine, a fiber connection method and a fiber laser oscillator that are capable of improving the beam quality. A fiber laser processing machine comprises: a processing machine body provided with a laser processing head for emitting laser beams; a fiber laser oscillator including a fiber laser module for generating the laser beams and a feeding fiber cable for collectively taking out the laser beams generated by the fiber laser module; and a process fiber cable for transmitting the laser beams taken out by the feeding fiber cable of the fiber laser oscillator to the laser processing head of the processing machine body. The feeding fiber cable and the process fiber cable are joined by fusion, and the feeding fiber cable and the process fiber cable have an equal core diameter.

    Abstract: A method of cutting a cut member out of an original sheet by means of thermal cutting and machining, and includes a hole-cutting process, a finishing process, and an outer periphery-cutting process. During the hole-cutting process, a hole is created in the original sheet by means of thermal cutting while leaving a machining allowance in addition to the finished size of the hole. During the finishing process, a cutting tool is inserted into the hole which has been created through the hole-cutting process, and the cutting tool is guided along the inner circumference of the hole so as to cut the thermally-cut end surface in order to machine the hole to the finished size. During the outer periphery-cutting process, the outer periphery of the cut member is cut by means of thermal cutting to take the cut member out of the original sheet.

The press machine braking performance verifying apparatus includes a speed detecting component, a stopping instruction detecting component, a stopping time measuring component, a maximum stopping time calculating component and an evaluating component. The speed detecting component detects a slide driving speed. The stopping instruction detecting component detects if stopping of the slide is instructed. The stopping time measuring component measures a stopping time until the slide stops when a stopping instruction is detected. The maximum stopping time calculating component calculates predicted stopping time in a case where the slide is driven at a maximum driving speed based on the slide driving speed after detecting the stopping instruction and the stopping time. The controller is capable of performing a profile control of correcting the position of the machine head based on the detected distance. When the machine head has reached a predetermined position part way through an approach process of moving the machine head from an approach start position to a machining start position while controlling the pose of the nozzle, the controller performs the profile control to move the machine head to the machining start position.

    Abstract: A press device includes a press device main body and a main breaker to supply or stop power from an external power supply to the press device main body. The press device main body includes a slide, a bolster disposed below the slide, a servomotor configured to drive the slide, a power storage unit able to supply stored power to the servomotor, a discharge unit configured to discharge a charge stored in the power storage unit, and a first contactor. An upper die can be mounted on the slide. A lower die can be disposed on the bolster. The first contactor interrupts an electrical connection between the power storage unit and the discharge unit in an energized state and electrically connects the power storage unit and the discharge unit in a non-energized state. The first contactor is supplied with power for energization from the external power source without passing through the main breaker.
