    摘要: A base supports an inclined screen having a uniform mesh selected to remove larger aggregate from a first cement mixture to form a second cement mixture that passes through the screen. A powered vibrator vibrates the screen to separate the concrete mixtures and larger aggregate. Springs and/or dampers in support legs isolate the vibrating screen from the base. A guide frame on the top surface of the screen guides the first concrete mixture along the screen and guide the separated aggregate out a bottom opening into an aggregate container. A support frame on the bottom surface of the screen stiffens the screen to help support the weight of the concrete. A concrete container, preferably wheeled, is below the screen to collect the second concrete mixture and move it to its use location.

    摘要: A continuous sieving apparatus is described. The continuous sieving apparatus includes an inclined sieve surface attached to a wall. The inclined sieve surface is inclined with respect to a horizontal axis for pupae to continuously flow across down the incline. A set of openings is formed in the sieve surface so as to define a set of pathways extending through the sieve surface. The set of opening are defined by a length dimension that is greater than a width dimension. When the inclined sieve surface is submerged in a liquid, a first pupa having a first cephalothorax width that is less than the width dimension is free to move through any one of the set of openings, and a second pupa having a second cephalothorax width that is greater than the width dimension is prevented from moving through the set of openings.

    摘要: A screening system having a resiliently mounted housing with a screen extending thereacross. The housing is vibrated by a low frequency vibratory drive using eccentric weights. About the peripheral frame of the screen, a high frequency drive or drives is employed to vibrate the screen in the range of 20,000 Hz. The high frequency vibration is generated at the peripheral frame about the screen. The screen may be responsive to the high frequency vibrations in a plate-like manner or as a membrane. With the high frequency drives mounted within the housing, a structure made of a sheet extends from a mounting flange inwardly to a mounting ring supporting the screen and the high frequency drives and inwardly to a collecting system including a trough and a central dome. The center of the dome may be fixed to the screen and include a high frequency drive.

    摘要: A screening basket has one or more screen decks and has upright side walls integrated with cross beams. A side beam, at approximately the center of gravity of the basket, is integrated with each of the side walls as well as with the cross beams to provide a unitary, rugged basket capable of vibratory movement on a support frame. A pair of cross shafts extend transversely of the screening basket and project beyond the side walls. These shafts are journaled in the side beams and have one projecting end geared together for opposite rotation. These projecting ends carry eccentric weights of different mass to provide an oval vibratory stroke of the screening basket upon rotation of the shafts. Adjusting mechanism is provided to adjust the relative position of the weights on the shafts to vary the angle of stroke. These weights are arranged to receive auxiliary weights to vary the amplitude of vibratory stroke as well as the shape of the stroke. The screen decks include tensioning clamp mechanism on at least one end which also is adjustable for lateral alignment with the screening. The screen decks preferably comprise at least two sections with end and intermediate tensioning clamp mechanism. These screen sections are supported on cross beams in turn supported on end bars pivotally mounted centrally thereof to the side walls of the basket to conform precisely to the contour of the underside of the screen.
