A marking implement comprises a main body (2) for housing a marking element (3) that is movable by sliding therein; the main body (2) comprises a broad grip portion (4) and an elongated neck (5) axially contiguous to the grip portion (4); a mechanism for sliding (7) said marking element (3), a protective cap (6) housing the neck (5) completely therein and the broad grip portion (4) at least partially. The sliding mechanism (7) comprises a movement slider (8) that is slidable axially and in a controlled manner along the main housing body (2) so as to guide the advancement and retraction of the marking element (3).

A pencil sharpener removably couplable to a non-mechanical pencil including: a body comprising an external volume having a conically-shaped inner volume; a steel blade cutter that is removable and replaceable and is received in a recessed portion within an outer face side of the body; a biasing clip attacher that permits removable attachment of the pencil sharpener onto objects including a clothing pocket, belt, or bookmark; a light to provide illumination, and a friction fit cylindrical stabilizer having a biasing slit and a closed end for receiving a proximate end of the non-mechanical pencil. Further, the body has an outer face side of the body with a hand-conforming contour providing an increased-efficiency shave-removing surface within the body to permit insertion of a distal end of the non-mechanical pencil.

The present invention involves a pencil sharpener that is housed in a pencil cap, having a variable-sized shavings reservoir. The shavings reservoir can be expanded by moving at least one of an internal wall, an external wall, and the sharpener. Contemplated caps comprise any suitable dimension, but preferably have a length that is at least 50%, or at least 75%, that of a corresponding full-length pencil.
Abstract:
The present invention is a combined pencil sharpener and pencil stowage apparatus. The invention comprises a body, a pencil stowage compartment formed within the body for containing a tip of a pencil, and a separate pencil sharpener compartment formed within the body, the pencil sharpener compartment containing a pencil sharpener. Unlike previous inventions, the present invention provides a single body that has these two separate pencil stowage and pencil sharpener compartments formed therein. The pencil stowage compartment and pencil sharpener compartment are preferably positioned in a parallel relationship to minimize the length of the pencil/apparatus when the pencil is stowed in the apparatus, therefore making it easy to be stored in the user's pocket.

A Wood Pencil Sharpener and Pocket Holder which allows a pencil to be stored in a shirt pocket such that the pencil and pencil point are contained within a tube and covered sharpener, thus eliminating lead pencil marks on the shirt and inside the shirt pocket. In addition, this device can sharpen the pencil while containing the loose shavings within a detachable cover.

The present invention provides a lead-auto-sharpened propelling pencil and a process of making it. The propelling pencil comprises a pencil body and a pencil cap. The pencil cap consists of a sharpener, a screwing insert and a powder remover. The process of sharpening the lead is automatically provided while the pencil cap is twisted onto the pencil body. The lead powder from sharpening is gathered in the powder remover so that the environment can be protected. The manufacturing process of the invention is that the cap case is moulded by the means of a cap case jig with the screwing insert and the sharpener installed by the means of a tapered jig. The manufacturing process according to the invention has broad application and is very practical.

Knock-out type automatic pencil comprises an outer barrel, an inner tube of plastic material molded integrally with a clamp and a head, a stopper collar inside the front end of outer barrel which retains the inner tube, a press device at the rear end of the outer barrel having lead sharpening and erasing means provided. The clamp at the front end of inner tube is formed in a closed type with slots on it instead of the conventional claw type.
