    摘要: A saw blade for cutting stalk crops, such as for example maize or millet, has a planar flank and a facet flank and a sawing edge with a succession of saw teeth. The saw teeth are provided with a wear protection zone, the wear resistance of which is greater than that of a material of the base body of the saw blade. The wear protection zone is respectively located on the planar flank of each saw tooth. The saw teeth in the region of the tooth face have a cutting facet, starting from the facet flank. The cutting facet is configured at a distance from the planar flank of the saw tooth to form a blunt tooth cutting edge and, in a preferred embodiment, the cutting facet and the facet flank are configured without a wear protection zone.

    摘要: A circular saw blade includes a generally flat disk with a cutting periphery defined by a plurality of carbide teeth arranged in spaced relation around the perimeter of the disk and projecting radially outwardly from the disk. Each tooth of the cutting periphery includes a pair of spaced-apart primary side faces, a cutting face having a cutting edge with a top bevel angle within the range of at least 25 degrees to about 50 degrees, and at least two secondary side faces. Each secondary side face extends between the cutting face and a respective one of the pair of primary side faces and has a relief angle relative to the immediately adjoining primary side face. The circular saw blade is ably suited to provide a smooth cutting finish without splintering of the top and bottom edges in connection with a wide variety of cuts, including crosscutting and ripcutting.

    摘要: A saw blade for an oscillating saw can include a plate having cutting teeth arranged in an arcuate tooth pattern at a cutting path. Cutting teeth on opposite sides of the centerline of the plate may be arranged to face oppositely. Each cutting tooth can have primary and secondary relief surfaces at different angles to the cutting path. Cutting teeth may be offset outwardly from the plate, with tips of some of the cutting teeth having outward-facing kerf surfaces parallel to the plate. The plate may be of bimetal construction, so that the cutting teeth and bulk of the plate are made of different materials. The cutting teeth may be formed by a coining process.

    摘要: An improved slot for a circular saw blade that reduces thermal cracking that occurs during the use of the blade. The slot extends from the peripheral edge of the blade in a vertical direction toward the center of the blade. It has an initial channel that takes a slight curve as it extends toward the center of the blade, but remains in a substantially vertical orientation until it terminates in a curve that is convex when viewed from the peripheral edge toward the center hole. The curve extends in both directions away from the channel portion. The first curve extends at a length that is longer than the length of the second curve. The curve does not complete a circle, but resembles a circle that has had been snipped at one point and one side hangs down below the other. Each curve terminates in an aperture.

Recessed cutting sections provide accelerated radial cutting and also additional axial shredding. Auxiliary axial segments are formed or deflected out of the blade body around a base line or juncture with the blade, at angles acute to the plane of the blade, and the openings through the blade created thereby, are radially outward of the juncture. The segments are configured to provide an inclined leading edge for each segment, that cuts a laterally extended path with the movement of the blade, and enhances both radial and axial shredding. A contrasting vivid color band on distal cutting sections optically merges into a distinctively visible cutting edge for obstacle avoidance and safety enhancement.

The tool includes a support having a transverse thickness with respect to the direction of cutting and abrasive segments attached to the support and made from a mixture of abrasive material and binder.
