摘要： Disclosed is a toilet seat stabilizing kit for preventing horizontal sliding or slippage of a toilet seat relative to the rim of the toilet bowl on which it rests. The kit includes at least two symmetrically-placed L-brackets. The longer length of each bracket is attached to the undersurface of the sides of the toilet seat, such that the inner surface of the shorter length of each L-bracket abuttingly engages the outer rim of the toilet bowl when the toilet seat is rotated into position atop the toilet bowl. The kit may further include a plurality of support spacers for attachment to the undersurface of the toilet seat in order to evenly distribute the weight of a user. The kit may comprise one or more apertures in each L-bracket for receiving a threaded or other type of fastener to secure the L-brackets to the undersurface of the toilet seat.

The central extent of the seal is spaced above the lip. The lower end of an upstanding finger of the seal is integrally formed with the base above the central extent. The upstanding finger has a lower extent in a linear configuration extending outwardly from the vertical.

摘要： A retainer provides for the prevention of lateral slippage or movement of a toilet seat or a toilet bowl rim. Typically, bowl rims are not uniformly level or even, and conventional bumpers, along with the play generally found in the seat hinges, allow a seat to slip laterally relative to the rim, and occasionally drop slightly as the bumper(s) is/are displaced to one edge of the bowl rim as the seat shifts. The present retainers each include inner and outer depending retainer portions, which serve to prevent lateral displacement of the seat in either direction relative to the rim. Thus, only a single retainer is required, although preferably two are installed on opposite sides of the seat bottom and toward the front of the seat for uniformity. The present retainers include a resilient intermediate portion, which allows the depending retainer portions and member from which they depend, to arcuately rock to accommodate uneven bowl rims. The device(s) may be mechanically or adhesively secured to the seat bottom.

The cover portion is a washable and reusable seat cover portion that is removably attachable to a mounting surface of a toilet seat section between a toilet cover and a top surface of a toilet bowl. The storage portion is configured to enable a hygienic storage and portability of the cover portion. A resilient member is disposed on an outer perimeter of the cover portion that is configured to create tension and enable a secure fastening of the cover portion to the mounting surface. An indicia on the cover portion is configured to help orient a positioning of the cover portion on the mounting surface. A matching indicia on the storage portion helps avoid confusion.
