Abstract:
A method and an apparatus of processing a media file for an Augmented Reality (AR) service are provided. The method includes storing a media file including information about an event to provide the AR service, and providing the media file. The information about the event includes identification information about an event item and information about an event type.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus are provided for receiving service discovery information in a client in a hybrid delivery multimedia transmission system, the method including receiving service discovery information related to a service and comprising service type information indicating that the service is provided by a plurality of channels including a first channel of a first network and a second channel of a second network, the second channel being different from the first channel, in a plurality of networks including the first network and the second network, different from the first network, and parsing the service type information.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for receiving a broadcast service in a digital broadcasting system. The method includes receiving, by a reception unit, related information relevant to a common broadcast service being provided in common in at least two Internet Protocol (IP) platforms, from one of the at least two IP platforms; determining, by a mobility management block, whether a currently received broadcast service is the common broadcast service, based on the related information; and continuously receiving the common broadcast service from a remaining IP platform, except for the one of the at least two IP platforms, when the currently received broadcast service is the common broadcast service.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus of processing data to support Augmented Reality (AR) are provided. In the method, an image file including at least a scene description stream, an object descriptor stream, and a visual stream including a real-world medium is received, the scene description stream including an AR node that represents information about at least one piece of AR content used to augment the real-world medium, information about an AR locator and an object descriptor Identifier (ID) is acquired from the AR node, the AR locator describing when the at least one piece of AR content appears and how the real-world medium is augmented with the at least one piece of AR content and the object indicator ID identifying an Object Descriptor (OD) that describes the at least one piece of AR content, and at least one elementary stream descriptor.
