Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an electronic device. The electronic device may comprise an image sensor and a processor connected to the image sensor electrically. The processor can generate a first image based on an electric signal generated by the image sensor. A first contrast value for the first image is calculated. A brightness value of the brightest point in a first area centered at a first point included in the first image is stored as a brightness value of the first point. A second image is generated based on the stored brightness values a weighted value is determined for each point according to the brightness value of each point included in the second image. A second contrast value is calculated based on the determined weighted value of each point and the first contrast value.
