Abstract: A flexible display device includes a flexible display panel which operates based on an operation mode thereof, where the flexible display panel includes a display part, and a second display part connected to the first display part, wherein the second display part operates in a transmission mode to transmit a first image displayed in the first display part when the flexible display panel is in a bent shape in which the second display part is disposed to overlap the first display part, and the second display part operates in a display mode to display a second image when the flexible display panel is in an unbent shape, in which the second display part does not overlap the first display part.
