Abstract: A display device includes a substrate, a first barrier layer on the substrate, a lower pattern on the first barrier layer and having a mesh shape defining a disconnection area, a second barrier layer on the first barrier layer, covering the lower pattern, and contacting the first barrier layer in the disconnection area, and a first active pattern on the second barrier layer and overlapping the lower pattern, a gate electrode on the first active pattern and overlapping the lower pattern, a first gate line on the first active pattern extending in a first direction, a second active pattern on the first gate line, a second gate line on the second active pattern extending in the first direction, and a data line on the second gate line extending in a second direction crossing the first direction.

Abstract: A display device includes a substrate, an active pattern, a first conductive layer, a second conductive layer, a shielding pattern, and a light emitting element. The active pattern is disposed on the substrate. The active pattern includes a first region, a second region, and a first channel region. The first conductive layer is disposed on the active pattern. The first conductive layer includes a first gate electrode overlapping the first channel region. The second conductive layer is disposed on the first conductive layer. The second conductive layer includes a first storage electrode overlapping the second region. The shielding pattern disposed on the second conductive layer. The shielding pattern overlaps the first gate electrode and the first storage electrode, and includes a black material. The light emitting element is disposed on the shielding pattern. Accordingly, low frequency characteristics of the display device may be improved.
