Abstract: A display device according to an embodiment includes a flat area and a sliding area, a display panel disposed in the flat area and the sliding area, a first adhesive layer disposed on the display panel in the flat area, a cover member that is disposed on the display panel in the sliding area, a first plate disposed on the cover member, and a second plate disposed on the first adhesive layer. The first adhesive layer and the cover member are spaced apart from each other, and a region between the first adhesive layer and the cover member is covered by the first plate.
