Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including a front surface that displays an image, and a rear surface, wherein the display panel is foldable with respect to a folding axis extending in a first direction; and a metal plate disposed on the rear surface of the display panel, wherein the metal plate includes a first body and a second body that are arranged in a second direction intersecting the first direction; a patterned portion disposed between the first body and the second body to overlap the folding axis in a thickness direction of the display device; and at least one protrusion protruding parallel to the folding axis from an edge of at least one of the first body, the second body, and the patterned portion.
