Abstract:
A method of operating a memory system, including a memory controller which controls at least one memory device included in the memory system, is disclosed. The method includes: comparing a temperature of at least one memory device included in the memory system with a reference temperature; conducting a heating operation on the at least one memory device in order to increase the temperature of the at least one memory device, based on the result of the comparing step; and controlling the operation on the at least one memory device until it is determined that the temperature of the at least one memory device is equal to or greater than the reference temperature.
Abstract:
A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) apparatus and a method of processing an MR image are provided. The MRI apparatus includes a scanner configured to acquire a first image that is a T1-weighted image and a second image that is a fluid attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) image by performing an MRI scan on a brain. The MRI apparatus further includes an image processor configured to determine a white matter region in the second image based on the first image and the second image, and detect a white matter hyperintensity (WMH) region in the determined white matter region. The MRI apparatus further includes an output interface configured to display the detected WMH region and a change in the WMH region over time.
Abstract:
A method of obtaining fiber structure information of a nerve fiber in an object by using an MRI system includes: obtaining image information of voxels of the object; setting a tracking start area including at least one voxel of the object; setting at least one voxel adjacent to the tracking start area as a tracking processing area; determining a similarity between image information of a voxel included in the set tracking processing area and a voxel included in the tracking start area; and obtaining the fiber structure information according to the determined similarity.
Abstract:
A method for selecting a seed area for tracking nerve fibers in a brain includes performing registration of an atlas which shows a plurality of areas which are included in the brain and image data which relates to the brain, displaying a brain area list with respect to the plurality of areas, selecting a first area from the atlas based on a first user input with respect to the brain area list, extracting an area of the image data which corresponds to the first area, as a seed area, based on a result of the registration, and generating a first image which corresponds to the seed area from the image data, and displaying the generated first image.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus map image information of a target object onto an interface of the target object in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The method includes obtaining the image information of the target object in a predetermined direction from the outside of the target object to the inside of the target object, analyzing the obtained image information, extracting one piece of the obtained image information based on the analysis result, and allotting the extracted image information onto the interface of the target object.
