Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may detect a transmission control protocol (TCP) packet loss based at least in part on a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) payload of a packet. The UE may transmit a plurality of retransmission requests of the packet based at least in part on the detection of the TCP packet loss for the packet. Numerous other aspects are described.
