Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure present a method for providing communication in a virtual world. The method generally includes receiving, via one or more microphones, voice data of a user corresponding to an avatar in the virtual world, selecting, from a plurality of devices associated with a plurality of other avatars in the virtual world, at least one device based, at least in part, on an intensity of the voice data of the user, and communicating the voice data to the selected at least one device.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to wireless communication. Some aspects of the present disclosure include systems and techniques for device authentication. For example, an apparatus for wireless communication may receive, via a microphone, an audio signal from a second device. The apparatus may decode the audio signal to determine an encoded value. The apparatus may further determine that the audio signal is associated with the second device based on the encoded value. The apparatus may further establish a connection to the second device based on determining that the audio signal is associated with the second device.

Abstract: System and method for detecting and identifying noises in a sound signal occurring during a call on a mobile device and selectively filtering and suppressing the noises in the sound signal are provided. In the mobile device, a processor is configured to receive a sound signal, detect noises in the received sound signal, identify the noises in the received sound signal, display the identified noises in a user interface (UI), receive a selection of the displayed identified noises from the UI, and filter the received selection of the displayed identified noises from the received sound signal. The processor may use a machine learning module with a neural network to detect and identify the noises in the received sound signal.
