    Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices, and systems for sounding for trigger-based ranging. Some aspects more specifically relate to a first wireless device dividing a frequency bandwidth available for ranging procedures into a plurality of subbands in accordance with orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) techniques. In some implementations, the first wireless device may transmit a trigger frame that assigns a subband to a respective neighbor wireless device. Each respective neighbor wireless device may transmit, during a same time occasion, a respective sounding signal via each respective subband allocated to the respective neighbor wireless device. In some implementations, the first wireless device may perform sounding procedures using combined multiple input multiple output (MIMO) and OFDMA techniques, where each neighbor wireless device may be assigned a respective spatial stream. Accordingly, the first wireless device may support sounding procedures for larger quantities of neighbor wireless devices.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for positioning. In an aspect, a positioning entity obtains a plurality of pairs of timing measurements based on a plurality of pairs of ranging messages exchanged on a plurality of bandwidths, determines a plurality of range measurements based on the plurality of pairs of timing measurements, each range measurement of the plurality of range measurements based on one pair of the plurality of pairs of timing measurements, determines a weight for each range measurement of the plurality of range measurements based at least on a bandwidth of the plurality of bandwidths of a pair of timing measurements of the plurality of pairs of timing measurements used to determine the range measurement, and determines a weighted mean of the plurality of range measurements based at least on the plurality of range measurements and weights of the plurality of range measurements.

    Abstract: Devices and methods for wireless communication are disclosed. A method includes a wireless station receiving a first packet that includes a first media payload and a first media timestamp from a second device. The method includes the station capturing a time of arrival (TOA) timestamp in response to receiving the first packet from the second device. The TOA timestamp is sampled using a device clock of the station. The method includes the station receiving a second packet that includes a second media payload and a second media timestamp from the second device. A time of departure (TOD) timestamp associated with a transmission time of the first packet is embedded in the second packet. The TOD timestamp is sampled using a system clock of the second device. The method includes the station synchronizing its device clock to the system clock of the second device based on the TOA and TOD timestamps.

    Abstract: In some implementations, a device may obtain channel state information (CSI) corresponding to each subcarrier of a plurality of subcarriers in a set of RF transmissions comprising at least the plurality of subcarriers. The device may extract phase information of the CSI corresponding to each subcarrier and determine, for each subcarrier, a frequency spectrum from the phase information of the CSI, where the frequency spectrum comprises phase change values of the CSI corresponding to the respective subcarrier for a plurality of frequencies. The device may determine a breathing rate from the frequency spectrum of the CSI corresponding to a subcarrier set comprising one or more of the subcarriers, the breathing rate corresponding to a phase change value in the frequency spectrum within a predetermined range of frequencies for breathing rates.     Abstract: Implementations of a sensing headroom report (HR), generating the sensing HR, and adjusting transmit powers and other parameters are described. A device transmits a radar wireless signal at a first transmit power from one or more transmit chains. The device also senses the radar wireless signal. The device generates a sensing HR based on sensing the radar wireless signal. The sensing HR may include one or more indications of metrics associated with a received power, such as a transmit power headroom, a sensing headroom, or a combination of a self-interference power, noise, and received power. The device provides the sensing HR to another device in the wireless network (such as via a base station and/or core network to a radar server), and another device may determine a transmit power or other device parameters to be used for sensing.
