Abstract: A distance measurement system includes a light source, a wavelength conversion module that generates a harmonic G1 with which a target S is to be irradiated as guide light by converting a wavelength of a part of a fundamental wave L1 of light L0 emitted from the light source, a photodetector that detects reflected light L1r generated by reflection, on the target S, the fundamental wave L1 that has passed through the wavelength conversion module, and a signal processing unit that calculates a distance to the target S on the basis of a detection result of the photodetector.

Abstract: A dual optical frequency comb generator incudes a semiconductor substrate, a first optical frequency comb laser light source including a first resonator, a second optical frequency comb laser light source including a second resonator and differing in repetition frequency of optical pulses from the first optical frequency comb laser light source, two or more outputters including first and second outputters, a first optical waveguide connecting the first optical frequency comb laser light source with the first outputter, a second optical waveguide connecting the second optical frequency comb laser light source with the second outputter, and a third optical waveguide that branches off from the first optical waveguide and joins the second optical waveguide. The first optical frequency comb laser light source, the second optical frequency comb laser light source, the two or more outputters, and the optical waveguides are integrated on the semiconductor substrate.

Abstract: A laser device includes a first optical comb laser, a second optical comb laser having a repetition frequency different from the first optical comb laser, a detection unit that detects interfering light between light output from the first optical comb laser and light output from the second optical comb laser and a control circuit. The control circuit controls at least one of a first CEO frequency, which is a carrier-envelope offset frequency of the first optical comb laser, or a second CEO frequency, which is a carrier-envelope offset frequency of the second optical comb laser, on the basis of output of the detection unit and thus changes a difference frequency, which is a difference between the first CEO frequency and the second CEO frequency.

Abstract: An optical measuring device includes a light source, a photodetector, a control circuit, and a signal processing circuit. The control circuit causes the light source to emit first and second light pulses with which a target of measurement is irradiated, causes the photodetector to detect a first portion of a first reflected light pulse in a first period having a first time length and output a first signal representing an amount of light of the first portion, and causes the photodetector to detect a second portion of a second reflected light pulse in a second period having a second time length and output a second signal representing an amount of light of the second portion. The signal processing circuit generates, based on a fluctuation in the first signal and a fluctuation in the second signal, information indicating a fluctuation in internal state of the target of measurement.
