    Abstract: A control unit in a communications device, upon receipt of information from a first lighting device, transmits the information from the first lighting device to a second lighting device and enters a single protocol state in which wireless communication is performed exclusively via a second communications protocol, until the communications device receives a response to the transmission. Upon receipt of information from the second lighting device, the control unit transmits the information from the second lighting device to the first lighting device and enters a single protocol state in which wireless communication is performed exclusively via a first communications protocol, until the communications device receives a response to the transmission. Upon receipt of either of the responses by the communications device, the control unit enters a multiprotocol state in which wireless communication is possible via the first and second communications protocols.

    Abstract: A communications device relays information between a start node among one or more first lighting devices included in a first local network and an end node among one or more second lighting devices included in a second local network different from the first local network. The communications device includes a first processing unit that wirelessly communicates with the one or more first lighting devices via a first communications protocol; a second processing unit that wirelessly communicates with the one or more second lighting devices via a second communications protocol different from the first communications protocol; and a control unit that switches between causing the first processing unit to wirelessly communicate with the one or more first lighting devices and causing the second processing unit to wirelessly communicate with the one or more second lighting devices.

The apparatus communicator wirelessly transmits and receives information on operations of the lighting apparatuses. The apparatus controller interprets: a mesh profile which is a communications protocol for the lighting apparatus to transmit and receive the information to and from another lighting apparatus and a communication terminal forming a mesh network, and a user profile which is a communications protocol for the lighting apparatus and the communication terminal to communicate with each other, the user profile being set depending the communication terminal.

    Abstract: A speaker device includes: a main body part mounted at a predetermined position; a first actuator that is housed in the main body part and generates vibration corresponding to an audio signal that is input; a vibrating body; and vibration transmitting member. The vibrating body vibrates with vibration transmitted from the outside to generate sound. The vibration transmitting member is a string-shaped or rod-shaped member that transmits the vibration generated by the first actuator to the vibrating body. The vibrating body is placed for hanging from the first actuator by the vibration transmitting member.

    Abstract: Lighting apparatuses have a first communication mode in which the lighting apparatuses and a first or second communication terminal mutually transmit and receive a command and a second communication mode in which the lighting apparatuses forming a mesh network mutually transmit and receive the command. Among the lighting apparatuses that receive the command originating from the first communication terminal in the second communication mode, the lighting apparatuses that are not in communication with the second communication terminal in the first communication mode execute the command received in the second communication mode. On the other hand, the lighting apparatus that is in communication with the second communication terminal in the first communication mode maintains a current operating state without executing the command received in the second communication mode.
