    Abstract: Method, apparatuses, and computer program product for providing an efficient receiver beam selection scheme during positioning which utilizes the uplink (UL). One method may include creating a group of user equipment with one or more user equipment according to user equipment characteristics. The method may also include assigning a group identification for the group of user equipments. The method may further include assigning an anchor user equipment for the group of user equipments.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of channel access procedure based on the channel access priority class (CAPC). The method comprises receiving scheduling information from a second device, the scheduling information at least indicating resources allocated for a transmission from the first device to the second device, a channel access type for the transmission and an expected access priority for the transmission. The method further comprises comparing the expected access priority with an access priority of data in a buffer of the first device and determining use of the resources based on the comparison. In this way, the Channel Occupancy Time (COT) sharing can be used only for the data with higher or equal priority to avoid unintended usage of the grant on unlicensed band and coexistence fairness among nodes with different types of traffic to be transmitted may be achieved.

    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for uplink (UL) positioning of idle or inactive terminal device. In example embodiments, a location management functionality determines a configuration related to an uplink positioning reference signal for a terminal device in an idle or inactive state. The location management functionality indicates the configuration to a location measurement unit. Further, the location management functionality causes a base station to inform the terminal device of the configuration via a paging message to trigger uplink positioning of the terminal device based on the configuration while the terminal device is in the idle or inactive state, or to release the uplink positioning while the terminal device is in the idle or inactive state.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of antenna configuration for positioning. The method comprises identifying, at a first device, at least one second device hearable by the first device based on a monitoring of respective reference signals from the at least one second device; determining respective transmit power on at least two antenna panels allocated for the at least one second device based on a measurement associated with the respective reference signals; and transmitting, to the at least one second device, a message associated with a positioning of the first device by using the at least two antenna panels with the respective transmit power. In this way, the chance of successful PRACH for positioning reception at all identified involved gNBs may be optimized for maximized positioning accuracy at low latency and low UE power consumption.

    Abstract: A method for a base station includes sending a request for a report on beamforming capability to a target user equipment; receiving the report on the beamforming capability from the target user equipment; allocating at least one positioning reference signal resource for use by the target user equipment based on at least the capability information included in the report; determining a beam sweeping mle based on the at least one positioning reference signal resource allocated for the target user equipment; and sending the positioning reference signal resource allocation and the beam sweeping mle to the target user equipment. A corresponding method for a user equipment includes receiving a request for a report on beamforming capability from a serving base station; sending the report on the beamforming capability to the serving base station; receiving information relating to at least one positioning reference signal resource and a beam sweeping rule from the serving base station; and performing beam sweeping on uplink positioning reference signal transmissions using the received positioning reference signal resource allocation based on the beam sweeping rule.

The method comprises determining a search space configuration associated with control resources on a plurality of sub-bands which are unlicensed, the search space configuration indicating candidates for detection of downlink control information for the plurality of sub-bands; determining, from the search space configuration, positions of the candidates on the control resources within each of the plurality of sub-bands; mapping an available number of candidates to the determined positions based on a transmission bandwidth assumed by a terminal device; and transmitting downlink control information to the terminal device on the mapped candidates.
