    Abstract: There are provided measures for enabling/realizing support for idle period communication in semi-static channel access. Such measures exemplarily comprise that a user equipment device monitors for presence of a clearance indication provided by a base station device serving the user equipment device, which indicates clearance for communication by the user equipment device in at least one idle period of abase station device frame period, disables communication by the user equipment device in the at least one idle period of the base station device frame period when the monitoring yields absence of the clearance indication, and enables communication by the user equipment device in the at least one idle period of the base station device frame period when the monitoring yields presence of the clearance indication.

    Abstract: A transmitter is configured to set a counter to a starting value, sense whether a channel is busy or idle and to update the counter value during sensing.     Abstract: Example embodiments may relate to an apparatus, method and/or computer program for managing timing advance loops. The method may comprise receiving, at a user equipment from a plurality of network nodes, respective downlink reference signals, wherein an antenna system of the user equipment receives the downlink reference signals using a wide beam configuration. The method may also comprise performing measurements on the received downlink reference signals to determine a parameter and for determining that the parameter does not meet a predetermined criteria. Based on the parameter not meeting the predetermined criteria, the method may comprise configuring the antenna system such that at least one of the downlink reference signals is received using a narrow beam configuration. The method may involve re-performing the measurements on downlink reference signals from the plurality of network nodes. Based on the parameter meeting the predetermined criteria, it may be determined that transmission of candidate uplink signals, from the user equipment to the at least one of the plurality of network nodes, can be grouped into one timing advance loop.

    Abstract: An apparatus including an array of dual-polarized antenna elements. Each antenna element includes a pair of orthogonal polarization feeds, and a coupler configured to couple, in the near field, the orthogonal polarizations. The apparatus also including control circuitry configured to control, for each polarization, for each antenna element, a power adjustment and a phase adjustment applied to signals of the respective polarization feeds. The apparatus further includes measurement circuitry configured to measure, for each polarization, for each antenna element via its respective coupler, a power and/or a phase of a signal transmitted from the respective array. The apparatus also includes calibration circuitry configured to adjust, for each polarization, for each antenna element, the power adjustment and/or the phase adjustment applied to signals of the respective polarization feeds in dependence upon the measurement, for each polarization, of power and/or phase of the signal transmitted from the respective antenna element.
