Abstract: A network node in a wireless network sends a selected BWP toward a UE, the selected BWP to be used by the UE during a connection procedure used to connect the UE to the wireless network after the UE enters an idle or inactive state. The selected BWP is different from an initial BWP that would have been used by the UE during the connection procedure. The network node receives from the user equipment a message for connection to the wireless network using the selected BWP. The UE receives the selected BWP and uses the selected BWP to send, while in one of an idle state or an inactive state, a message for connection to the wireless network using the selected BWP (e.g., and not the initial BWP).

Abstract: Various communication systems may benefit from appropriate sharing of resources amongst multiple nodes. For example, certain wireless communication systems may benefit from using a single measurement gap for master node and secondary node measurements in a multi-radio-access-technology dual connectivity scenario, or similar scenarios. A method can include determining, by a first network node, that a gap pattern is existing in a second network node. The method can also include enquiring, by the first network node to the second network node, whether the gap pattern can be used for a new measurement. The method can further include configuring, by the first network node, a user equipment to perform the new measurement in the gap pattern, based on a response from the second network node to the enquiring.

Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to QoE measurement collection in non-connected State. In an example method, a terminal device receives, from an access network device, a quality of experience (QoE) measurement collection (QMC) procedure configuration indicating whether a QMC procedure is to be continued when the terminal device enters into a non-connected state. Then, the terminal device logs, in a logging buffer, QMC logging data of the QMC procedure performed at the terminal device in the non-connected state based on determining that the QMC procedure configuration indicates that the QMC procedure is to be continued when the terminal device enters into the non-connected state. In this way, QMC data collected in a non-connected state can be stored in the logging buffer so that the needed QMC data collected during non-connected state can be maintained.
