Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide apparatuses and methods for wireless communications. One apparatus includes processing circuitry that selects one or more first available radio link monitoring reference signal (RLM-RS) samples from a plurality of received RLM-RS samples based on signal qualities of the one or more first available RLM-RS samples. The one or more first available RLM-RS samples are received within a first evaluation period. The processing circuitry determines whether a total number of the one or more first available RLM-RS samples is less than a target number. When the total number of the one or more first available RLM-RS samples is determined to be less than the target number, the processing circuitry determines a second evaluation period that is greater than the first evaluation period, and performs an RLM procedure in an unlicensed band within the second evaluation period.

The controller receives a Radio Resource Control (RRC) message comprising a measurement configuration for SFN (System Frame Number) and Frame Timing Difference (SFTD) from the first service network via the wireless transceiver, performs first SFTD measurements between a Primary Cell (PCell) of the first service network and neighbor cells of the second service network via the wireless transceiver in response to the measurement configuration for SFTD indicating the neighbor cells, and sends a result of the first SFTD measurements to the first service network via the wireless transceiver.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for performing a bandwidth part (BWP) switching process within different switching delays. For example, the apparatus can include receiving circuitry and processing circuitry. The receiving circuitry can receive from a BS a signaling indicating a change to a BWP configuration of the UE. The processing circuitry can perform a BWP configuration switching process based on the change to the BWP configuration to switch an active BWP configuration to a new BWP configuration, and monitor data transmission from the BS with the new BWP configuration either after a first predefined switching delay when the change to the BWP configuration includes at least one of a predefined set of BWP configuration parameters or after a second predefined switching delay when the change to the BWP configuration does not include any one of the predefined set of BWP configuration parameters.

Abstract: A UE performs a cell activation process in a wireless network. The UE calculates a first automatic gain control (AGC) setting based on downlink signals from a base station. The downlink signals include a coarse beam reference signal, a fine beam reference signal, and a conversion indication that indicates a power conversion between the coarse beam reference signal and the fine beam reference signal. The UE further calculates a second AGC setting based on the first AGC setting and the conversion indication. The UE performs a cell search using one of the first AGC setting and the second AGC setting, and performs fine time-frequency tracking using the other of the first AGC setting and the second AGC setting.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method and an apparatus. For example, the apparatus can include receiving circuitry and processing circuitry. The receiving circuitry can be configured to receive from a cell a Q number and one or more SSBs within DRS transmission windows associated with the cell. The processing circuitry can be configured to, for each of the DRS transmission windows, perform a modulo operation on position indexes of the SSB with the Q number to determine SSB beam indexes (SBIs) of the SSBs. A remainder of each of the position indexes is an SBI of one of the SSBs that corresponds to the position index. The processing circuitry can be further configured to combine RRM measurements of the SSBs within the DRS transmission windows based on the SBIs of the SSBs to determine the quality of the cell.
