Abstract: The present invention relates to an IF1 protein-derived peptide and a medicinal use thereof, in which the peptide suppresses appetite and inhibits lipid accumulation and differentiation of adipocytes in an obese animal model, and promotes insulin secretion and improves glucose tolerance in a diabetic animal model. Therefore, the present invention can be usefully used for anti-obesity and anti-diabetic purposes.
