Abstract: A mobile terminal, a home appliance and a method for operating the same are disclosed. The mobile terminal includes a display configured to display a predetermined screen, a near field communication (NFC) module configured to transmit or receive information related to the screen to or from a home appliance by tagging to the home appliance, and a controller configured to control display of the information received from the home appliance on the display. Accordingly, it is possible to transmit information between the home appliance and the mobile terminal via NFC.
