Abstract: Disclosed is a method of controlling a washing machine including detecting an amount of clothes contained in a drum, supplying washing water based on the detected amount of clothes, washing the clothes by applying current to a drive module after the supply of the washing water, a rinsing operation of rinsing the clothes by supplying water to a tub from an external water source, after the washing of the clothes, determining unbalance of the clothes by applying current to the drive module while washing water is contained in the tub, after the rinsing of the clothes, dispersing the clothes by controlling the current applied to the drive module when the unbalance of the clothes is determined to be equal to or higher than a set value, discharging the washing water contained in the tub when the unbalance of the clothes is determined to be lower than the set value, and dehydrating the clothes to remove the washing water from the clothes, after the discharge of the washing water.

Abstract: Disclosed is a control method of a washing machine. The method includes accelerating an angular speed of a wash tub by rotating the wash tub in which water is stored in a washing or rinsing operation, and detecting current angular-speed values with a time gap within a preset preliminary-acceleration range, thereby calculating a preliminary angular-speed variation-value by adding absolute values of differences between the current angular-speed values detected before and after each time gap, comparing the preliminary angular-speed variation-value with a preset preliminary reference variation-value to perform fabric dispersion when the preliminary angular-speed variation-value exceeds the preliminary reference variation-value, and discharging the water and rotating the wash tub so that the angular speed of the wash tub is accelerated in a dehydration operation. The preliminary reference variation-value is preset to the preliminary angular-speed variation-value, calculated when an eccentric rotation degree of the wash tub is a preset maximum tolerance value.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a laundry treating apparatus. The laundry treating apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a control unit which controls the tub to rotate at a first speed in a case of a blanket dehydration mode, to rotate at a second speed lower than the first speed so that the plurality of balls are dispersed when amount of eccentricity in the first speed rotation is equal to or greater than a first reference value, and to rotate at a third speed higher than the first speed when the amount of eccentricity in the first speed rotation is less than the first reference value. Accordingly, in a blanket dehydration mode, it is possible to stably perform dehydration by preventing the plurality of balls from operating unbalanced.
