Abstract: A mobile terminal and a control method thereof are provided. When a pre-set input with respect to an object is received, the mobile terminal selects the object, and searches and displays at least one application associated with the selected object, and when an input with respect to a specific application, among the at least one application, is received, the mobile terminal converts the selected object into an applicable form corresponding to the specific application and displays the converted object.
