摘要: A gas treatment system includes an absorber, a liquid separator, a regenerator, a circulation mechanism and a heat transfer apparatus. The absorber contacts the gas with the treatment liquid. The liquid separator separates the treatment liquid having been in contact with the gas into a first phase portion having a high content of the acidic compound and a second phase portion having a low content of the acidic compound. The regenerator heats the first phase portion to eliminate the acidic compound from the first phase portion. The circulation mechanism recycles the second phase portion and the treatment liquid from which the acidic compound has been eliminated by the regenerator, in the absorber as a treatment liquid with which the gas is to be contacted. The heat transfer apparatus transfers heat from the treatment liquid discharged by the absorber and from the gas having undergone separation of the acidic compound, to the treatment liquid in the regenerator.

摘要: Provided is a regeneration device for heating a treatment liquid in a phase-separated state due to absorption of an acidic compound to release the acidic compound and regenerate the treatment liquid. The regeneration device includes a container for storing the treatment liquid, and a first wall that partitions a space in the container into a first space and a second space. The first space includes: a heating region that receives the treatment liquid supplied from an outside of the container and in which a heating unit for heating the treatment liquid is disposed; and a static region that receives the treatment liquid from the heating region, the treatment liquid having released the acidic compound by being heated by the heating unit. The second space allows the treatment liquid having released the acidic compound to be discharged. The first wall is provided with an opening through which the treatment liquid in the static region flows into the second space.

摘要: An aspect of the present invention is a gas treatment method including: an absorption step of bringing a gas to be treated, which contains carbon dioxide and a sulfur compound, into contact with an absorption liquid to be phase-separated by carbon dioxide absorption, to cause the absorption liquid to absorb the carbon dioxide and the sulfur compound; and a first release step of heating the absorption liquid brought into contact with the gas to be treated to a temperature equal to or higher than a temperature at which the carbon dioxide absorbed by the absorption liquid is released from the absorption liquid and lower than a temperature at which the sulfur compound absorbed by the absorption liquid is released from the absorption liquid, to release the carbon dioxide from the absorption liquid.
