Abstract: Methods and apparatus to coordinate multiple access point scheduling and transmission disclosed. Abstract: In a dense wireless environment with spatial diversity and with multiple access points (APs) and multiple users (STAs), a common network controller may be used to determine which AP-STA combinations can operate simultaneously over the same channel without interfering with other AP-STA combinations. Each STA associates with each AP in a way that derives directionality, signal strength, array weight vectors, etc., for that AP and then provides that information to that AP. Each AP collects similar information from every STA in the network, and forwards the collected information to a Central Controller, who uses the combined information from all APs to determine which AP-STA combinations may operate simultaneously without causing interference with each other.
