Abstract: A computer implemented method, system, and device for direct-current biased optical frequency-division multiplexing (DCO-OFDM) modulation includes generating a DCO-OFDM signal with odd-indexed subcarriers carrying data, suppressing even-indexed subcarriers of the DCO-OFDM signal, and transmitting the DCO-OFDM signal via a light source.
