Abstract: A method, implemented by computer means, for adapting the sensorial output mode of a sensorial output device, for example a head mounted sensorial output device, to a user of the sensorial output device, the method comprising: a user attentional availability data providing step, during which user attentional availability data indicative of the attentional availability of the user are provided, a user sensorial perception threshold determining step during which a sensorial perception threshold of the user is determined based on the user attentional availability data, and an sensorial output mode adapting step during which the sensorial output mode of the output device is adapted based on the user attentional availability data and the user sensory perception threshold.
