Abstract: Provided is a ship information conversion method. The ship information conversion method includes receiving an international electrotechnical commission (IEC) 61162-based sentence prescribed by IEC, analyzing an address field and a data field of the IEC 61162-based sentence, extracting an information type object, an attribute type, a data type object, and an enumerated data type object from the IEC 61162-based sentence by using a result of the analysis, and converting the IEC 61162-based sentence into a common maritime data structure (CMDS) which includes the extracted information type object, attribute type, data type object, and enumerated data type object.
