Abstract: Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for real-time processing and distribution of big data based on data specifications. An apparatus for providing big data may provide real-time processing and distribution of big data based on data specifications. The apparatus manages data specifications and receives a request for processing of a data specification from a big-data consumer device. In response to the request for processing of the data specification, the apparatus generates processed data by performing processing using the data specification and sends the processed data to the big-data consumer device.
