摘要： An embodiment provides a truck cover system that includes a side rail, a cover, and a latching mechanism. The latching mechanisms include a housing attached to the cover, a latch extending through a first end of the housing and configured to engage with a bottom portion of the side rail, a cap attached to a second end of the housing, a plunger attached to the latch and having a first plunger end partially extending through an opening of the cap, an anchor element attached to the first plunger end preventing the first plunger end from entering the housing, and a spring wrapped around the plunger. When the spring is compressed, the latch may disengage with the side rail, and, when the spring is uncompressed, the latch may engage with the side rail.

摘要： Embodiments provide fastening slats for use in a flexible tonneau cover system for covering and sealing a bed of a pickup truck. The fastening slat may include a substantially flat elongated slat having a width and a thickness. The elongated slat may be insertable in a channel of a side rail of the flexible tonneau cover system. The fastening slat may also include a first fastening portion coupled with a substrate that is configured to wrap around at least a portion of the elongated slat such that at least a portion of the substrate contacts a bottom surface of the elongated slat. The first fastening portion may be coupleable to a second fastening portion of a flexible cover of the flexible tonneau cover system that is extendable over a bed of a pickup truck.

The system includes clamps to secure the side rails to the bed rails and a cover positioned above the side rails. The cover includes a first panel and a second panel positioned rearward of the first panel. The cover includes cover rails coupled near ends of the first panel and near ends of the second panel. The cover includes hinges positioned between the cover rails of the first panel and the second panel to pivotably couple the first panel with the second panel. The cover includes mounting features coupled with the cover rails of the first panel and mounting features coupled with the mounting positions. Rods are coupled with the cover rail mounting features and the mounting position mounting features to maintain the cover in a folded position.

摘要： A pickup compartment cover system having a covering layer with a front and a back frame edge. Both a driver and a passenger side include a frame edge fixed at the head of the frame edge, a buckle having a slot with an inward opening, a lock casing on an end of the back frame edge having a lock tongue cavity with an outward opening; a lock tongue provided inside the tongue cavity at the tail with a pulling rod section passing backward through the casing, and a compression spring surrounding the pulling rod section inside the lock tongue cavity pushed on one end against the lock tongue and on the other end against a tip of the lock tongue cavity so the lock tongue protrudes outside of the opening and the opening can further be locked into the slot. The two pulling rod sections connect through a pulling cord.

A tonneau cover system might include a first side rail configured to be coupled to a side wall of a bed of a truck, a first connection plate attached to and extending from the first side rail, a second connection plate, an extension plate extending from and attached to the second connection plate, and a cover for covering the bed of the truck and coupled to the extension plate. The first connection plate might include a recess on a bottom surface of the first connection plate. The first protrusion of the second connection plate might removably engage with the recess on the bottom surface of the first connection plate to couple the second connection plate to the first connection plate.
