Abstract: The disclosure provides a method and apparatus for processing a task, an electronic device, and a computer-readable storage medium. The method includes: receiving editing information of a target task transmitted by a client of a first service type, wherein the editing information of the target task includes: index information of the target task and editing data for modifying the target task; determining a client of a second service type containing the target task according to the index information of the target task; transmitting the editing information of the target task to the client of the second service type to cause the client of the second service type to synchronously modify the target task; and similarly, transmitting, in response to receiving editing information of a target task transmitted by the client of the second service type, the editing information of the target task to the client of the first service type to cause the client of the first service type to synchronously modify the target task.
