Abstract: The disclosure provides a method, apparatus, electronic device, and storage medium for cloud rendering of a live stream gift, wherein the method applied to the client includes: obtaining a to-be-rendered gift identifier and determining an attribute value of a gift effect corresponding to the identifier; uploading, based on the attribute value, the identifier, and a current live stream interface view to a target server, to cause the target server to perform rendering processing on the current live stream interface view based on a gift effect rendering algorithm corresponding to the identifier; and receiving and displaying a view rendering result issued by the target server.
