Abstract: A method (300) of operating a radio access point (115) so as to provide network slicing functionality, said radio access point providing a radio access network for a telecommunications network (100) and said radio access point comprising a plurality of antenna elements (122), the method comprises the steps of: reserving a portion of the plurality of antenna elements for use only by a given network slice, the reserved antenna elements forming a set of antenna elements (200); receiving instructions to transmit a network communication to a User Equipment (UE) of the telecommunication network; identifying that the UE is allocated to the given network slice; transmitting the network communication to the UE by the radio access point using only of the set of antenna elements.
