Abstract:
The present invention relates to a copolyamide (CoPA) produced by polymerizing a lactam (A) and a monomer mixture (M), where the monomer mixture (M) comprises 1,5-diamino-3-oxapentane. The present invention further relates to a polymer film comprising the at least one copolyamide (CoPA), to a process for producing the polymer film, and to the use of the polymer film (P) as a packaging film.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the polyamines N,N′-diaminopropyl-2-methyl-cyclohexane-1,3-diamine and N,N′-diaminopropyl-4-methyl-cyclohexane-1,3-diamine and mixtures thereof, to the use thereof as curing agents for epoxy resin and to a curable composition comprising epoxy resin and these polyamines. Even at low temperatures this curing agent/the corresponding curable composition cures rapidly and is early-stage water resistant and is thus especially suitable for floor coatings. The invention further relates to the curing of this composition and the cured epoxy resin obtained by curing of this composition.

The absorbent comprises a diluent and a compound of the general formula (I) wherein R1 is C1-C3-alkyl; R2 is C1-C3-alkyl; R3 is selected from hydrogen and C1-C3-alkyl; and R4 is selected from hydrogen and C1-C3-alkyl
Abstract:
A method for isomerizing a starting mixture comprising 2,4-diamino-1-methylcyclohexane, 2,4-MDACH for short, 2,6-diamino-1-methylcyclohexane, 2,6-MDACH for short, or mixtures thereof, wherein the isomerization is carried out in the presence of a supported catalyst with zirconium dioxide as support and ruthenium as active metal.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for hydrogenating 4,4′-methylenedianiline and/or polymeric MDA with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst comprising ruthenium on a zirconium oxide support material, and also to the use of a catalyst comprising ruthenium on a zirconium oxide support material for hydrogenating 4,4′-methylenedianiline and/or polymeric MDA.
Abstract:
A process for stabilizing monoalkyl-substituted diaminocyclohexanes, the process containing: adding a reductant and optionally water to a first composition containing a monoalkyl-substituted diaminocyclohexane and optionally water to obtain a second composition, wherein the second composition contains the reductant, the monoalkyl-substituted diaminocyclohexane and additionally at least 0.05% by weight of water based on the total weight of the second composition.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for preparing a cyclic isocyanate (B) from a composition (Z) which comprises at least one component (A) which has at least one cycloalkane ring having at least 4 ring carbons, where the cycloalkane ring has two NH2 groups in β or γ positions relative to one another as substituents and in more than 50 mol % of the total amount of component (A) the two NH2 groups in β or in γ positions relative to one another assume a trans configuration relative to one another. This composition (Z) is, in the process of the invention, reacted with phosgene to give a composition (ZP) which comprises at least one cyclic isocyanate (B) having isocyanate groups. In addition, the invention relates to the use of the isocyanate mixture (M) as monomer in processes for preparing polymers, in particular for preparing polyurethanes and polyureas.
Abstract:
A process for preparing trans-enriched MDACH, including: distilling an MDACH starting mixture in the presence of an auxiliary, which is an organic compound having a molar mass of 62 to 500 g/mol, a boiling point at least 5° C. above the boiling point of cis,cis-2,6-diamino-1-methylcyclohexane, and 2 to 4 functional groups, each of which is independently an alcohol group or a primary, secondary or tertiary amino group. The MDACH starting mixture includes 0 to 100% by weight of 2,4-MDACH and 0 to 100% by weight of 2,6-MDACH, based on the total amount of MDACH present in the MDACH starting mixture. The MDACH starting mixture includes both trans and cis isomers. Trans-enriched MDACH includes 0 to 100% by weight of 2,4-MDACH and 0 to 100% by weight of 2,6-MDACH, where the proportion of trans isomers in the mixture is higher than the proportion of trans isomers in the MDACH starting mixture.
