Abstract: Methods and apparatus for resolving incomplete message content in networks. Various embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to correction and recovery of incomplete measurement report configuration messages within a Long Term Evolution (LTE) network. Specifically, within certain LTE networks, existing messaging may be incomplete in regards to various nearby ancillary networks, but still sufficient with regards to measurement requirements of the LTE network itself. Since the mobile device can continue operation within the LTE network, the mobile device can safely ignore or correct the measurement report configuration message.
