Abstract: An electrochemical cell has a cathode, a lithium metal anode, a separator between the cathode and the lithium metal anode, a liquid electrolyte, and a polymer composite layer bonding the lithium metal anode to the separator. The polymer composite layer includes a crosslinked polymer backbone, polyethylene glycol, polycaprolactone, and one or more lithium salt.
