    Abstract: In some embodiments, an electronic device receives handwritten inputs in text entry fields and converts the handwritten inputs into font-based text. In some embodiments, an electronic device selects and deletes text based on inputs from a stylus. In some embodiments, an electronic device inserts text into pre-existing text based on inputs from a stylus. In some embodiments, an electronic device manages the timing of converting handwritten inputs into font-based text. In some embodiments, an electronic device presents a handwritten entry menu. In some embodiments, an electronic device controls the characteristic of handwritten inputs based on selections on the handwritten entry menu. In some embodiments, an electronic device presents autocomplete suggestions. In some embodiments, an electronic device converts handwritten input to font-based text. In some embodiments, an electronic device displays options in a content entry palette.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for mirrored control between devices performed at a first electronic device including one or more processors, memory, and a touch-sensitive display.     Abstract: A computing device having a touch-sensitive surface and a display, detects a stylus input on the touch-sensitive surface while displaying a user interface.     Abstract: A device that is in communication with a display and a touch-sensitive surface sends instructions to the display for displaying, concurrently, an object selection indicator and a portion of a user interface, the user interface having one or more selectable objects. The device sends instructions to the display for ceasing to display the object selection indicator and receives an input that corresponds to a first gesture. When the first gesture meets predefined navigation criteria, which includes a requirement that the first gesture has a shorter duration than a predefined time threshold, the device sends instructions for translating the user interface without redisplaying the object selection indicator. When the first gesture meets predefined object selection indicator movement criteria, which includes a requirement that the first gesture has a greater duration than the predefined time threshold, the device sends instructions for redisplaying the object selection indicator and moves the object selection indicator.

    Abstract: An electronic device with a display, a touch-sensitive surface and one or more intensity sensors displays content. While a focus selector is over the content, the device detects a gesture on the touch-sensitive surface, the gesture including a contact on the touch-sensitive surface and movement of the contact across the touch-sensitive surface that corresponds to movement of the focus selector on the display. In response to detecting the gesture, when the contact has an intensity below a selection intensity threshold, the device scrolls the content on the display in accordance with the movement of the focus selector on the display. In response to detecting the gesture, when the contact has an intensity above the selection intensity threshold, the device displays an enlarged representation of a portion of the content corresponding to the location of the contact on the touch-sensitive surface.

    Abstract: An electronic device with a touch-sensitive surface and a display displays a user interface object on the display, detects a contact on the touch-sensitive surface, and detects a first movement of the contact across the touch-sensitive surface, the first movement corresponding to performing an operation on the user interface object, and, in response to detecting the first movement, the device performs the operation and generates a first tactile output on the touch-sensitive surface. The device also detects a second movement of the contact across the touch-sensitive surface, the second movement corresponding to reversing the operation on the user interface object, and in response to detecting the second movement, the device reverses the operation and generates a second tactile output on the touch-sensitive surface, where the second tactile output is different from the first tactile output.
